Hello my Friends, Today is Christmasday in Germany "Heiligabend". My Travelback arrived and now I have to get my documents together. I bought a big documentcase for my stuff and a smaller one for my visa, cards and something like that.

Das vor-vor-letzte Wochenende

3 Weekends left! I decided to do a List, with every day of the week, and what I've done on this day. When I'll be in the USA I can look at it and remember those days. I started with Wednesday I was at the dentist and shopping (just a bit) for next year. Girlsstuff and so on. Also I had "physiotherapy" and I ate vegan this evening. On Thursday I was the whole day in the local kindergarten, played with the children, read books for them and bring them to bed. In the afternoon I was again at the "physiotherapy" it was great my back is feeling better every time after it. This day the air was great it smelled fresh and new. Yesterday I was, like every day now, in the kindergarten. I helped with the children and we cleaned our rooms. I saw the last episode of the walking dead in 2016 yesterday. It feels complicated to describe to think about that I will see the next episode in the United States. I'm getting nervous by every morning. But I'm more happy about my decision to become an au-pair, see the world a bit more and meet new people. And for sure meet my hostfamily for the first time! Stay healthy my friends, xoxo Kim

13 Days till Christmasday!

Hallöchen, In zwei Wochen ist Weihnachten und 10 Tage später fliege ich nach New York! Ich bin sehr gespannt und aufgeregt. Meine Unterlagen sind alle zusammen und ich kann mich auf die Reise vorbereiten :) Ich muss natürlich alles dabei haben dazu folgt aber ein separater Post auf meiner Website! Erstmal heißt es jetzt sich auf Weihnachten vorbereiten und natürlich mental und emotional auf Amerika! I'm so excited! Two weeks are left until Christmas and then just 10 days of waiting and I'll be in the United States! All my documents are together and I can start to prepare myself! Die Zeit verfliegt!

NOCH EIN MONAT! In einem Monat werde ich mich in Amerika befinden, mittlerweile steigt die Vorfreude und Nervosität. Ich habe immer noch nicht mein Visum und morgen meinen Termin in Berlin. Eines meiner Formulare war falsch und musste nochmal gemacht werden, ich hoffe es läuft alles glatt. Und ich habe noch ein paar Neuigkeiten: Ich habe ein, nein zwei neues Tattoos, das eine ist wirklich ganz klein an meinem Handgelenk (habe leider noch kein schönes Bild) das andere war seit längerem geplant. Einige könnten wissen, dass mein Kaninchen was mich über 10 Jahre begleitet hat, gestorben ist, ich habe den vorhandenen Platz auf meinem Fuß genutzt um mir meinen kleinen Freund tätowieren zu lassen. 36 Days are left / Visum

Ich habe endlich meinen Visumstermin! Ist ja auch allerhöchste Eisenbahn, so einen Monat vorher, aber ich freue mich das es doch noch alles geklappt hat und ich mich dann endlich darauf freuen kann! * außerdem war ich am Wochenende im Tropical Islands und konnte endlich mal ein bisschen abschalten. Habe mal ein paar schöne Bilder gemacht.

44 DAYS LEFT!

I'm so excited!!! I can't wait to meet my aupair friends, and to see New York! And I'm really looking forward to see my hostfamily the first time. I can't describe this feeling, it's not a good feeling to know that you leave your home, family and friends for one year but at the same time you're so happy that you can finally start a new adventure and get so much life experiences. America I'm coming! ♥

Meine Gastfamilie ♥

Meine Gastfamilie wohnt in Alexandria, Washington DC, Virginia. Am 03. Januar 2017 werde ich nach Amerika fliegen und in New York für eine Woche aufs College gehen. Anschließend werde ich zu meiner Familie nach Dc fliegen und dort mein Jahr verbringen. So der Plan. Meine Familie besteht aus 4 Mitgliedern, zwei süße Jungs und die beiden Eltern. Beide sind super freundlich, so habe ich sie zumindest kennengelernt beim skypen (insgesamt haben wir drei mal geskypt). Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, was diese Familie angeht sie passen gut zu mir und ich habe auch schon ein paar andere und sogar ein aupair aus der selben Gegend kennengelernt. Nun heißt es ein Visum besorgen und online Workshops fertig stellen. Dann Weihnachten und Silvester mit den Liebsten verbringen und bald auch schon in den Flieger steigen. ▶▶ NOCH 50 TAGE!◀◀🇺🇸 xoxo, Kim

My FINAL Match

Hello my Friends! ---GOOD NEWS--- I finally have my final match, I think I choosed a very good family and they choosed the right aupair, ME! It took a long time to find a good family again after all what happened. But I'm happy to meet these great people soon and I think it will be nice. Also today is my lazy Sunday!

Autumn arrived.

Everything happens for a reason.

A great and lovely person told me that. My hostfamily cancelled everything. I won't be their aupair next year. So in the end of October I have to search a new family for January. It's quite late and has to be quick. But I want to pick a better family. I had a great family and I don't know why but I decided against them and for the other and now they cancelled me. Is that Karma? Nevertheless I hope to find a good fitting family and everything will work next year. I'm very thankful for my family, friends and ashley, which help me during this uncomfortable time.

Aupair, die richtige Familie?

Hallo ihr Lieben, Gestern schrieb mir meine Gastfamilie, dass ihr derzeitiger Aupair bei ihnen gern verlängern würde. Ich sollte dann bitte im August anfangen und ob das in Ordnung für mich wäre. Natürlich nicht auch ich habe einen Plan im Leben und wenn ich im August zurück komme dann wirds schon mal schwer das Studium vorzubereiten. Außerdem ist alles mögliche schon beantragt, das kann also nicht warten. Das Vertrauen ist sehr sehr viel weniger geworden. Ich weiß nicht ob ich dann noch dorthin möchte, wenn es jetzt so 80Tage vorher solche Probleme gibt. Machen wir das beste drauß.

Hospital

In a few hours I'm going to the hospital, I don't know how long exactly I'll be there because my tonsils will get out of my body and I don't know how fast it will heal in my throat. So probably I am not texting for two weeks because the Internet will be bad there. But I have enough series and dvds and hopefully enough visitors :) Have a nice week! xoxo,Kim :)

Rettet den Regenwald / Veggie (German)

Seit je her unterstütze ich die vegane und vegetarische Lebensweise. Ich selbst esse zu einigen Anlässen gern mal ein Schnitzel oder Bouletten, habe jetzt aber eine schöne Alternative finden können, Dank meinem Chef, der selbst Vegan lebt. Einfach Soja-schnitzel erst kochen dann anbraten vielleicht sogar mit Maggie verfeinern :) köstlich! Und schmeckt sogar wie Fleisch, hat auch die Konsistenz. Man muss nicht sofort aufhören Fleisch zu essen es genügt einen oder zwei Fleischfreie Tage einzulegen selbst das reduziert den Konsum! Gemischte Gefühle (deutsch/German)

Der Sommer geht zu Ende und nun sitzt man viel daheim, denkt nach, liest, guckt Serien und entspannt. In ca. Einhundert Tagen werde ich meine Koffer packen und nach Amerika fliegen. Ich freue mich drauf aber ich bin auch traurig das ich hier einiges zurück lassen muss. Zudem hätte gestern meine Ausbildung in Angermünde begonnen auf die ich mich so gefreut hatte, doch auch wenn mich das etwas trübt, so habe ich doch die richtige Entscheidung getroffen :)

Working and Tattoos

Hey there! How are you? Nowadays my daily routine basis on working and go by train to Berlin to get a new tattoo. It seems like that because I'm working a lot to earn some money. One week ago I got a new tattoo I uploaded a picture at My Instagram account (ichmagdonuts). That was my 5th tattoo. I hate the pain, I'll be so happy when my planed feet project is over! Finding the family

It's so difficult. Everytime you see a message with congratulations and a new potential family. Now I had two beautiful families, living near by. But I know that I can't live with both. So I had to choose. I choosed the family which texted me first. 2 older boys, 2 younger ones which I will be responsible for and a beautiful couple. I'm sorry and sad because the other family was very great too! The mother of this family texted me very often and always I saw a massage I was happy too. I hope they find a other good fitting aupair and maybe I will visit them nevertheless. Goodbye.

Searching for the perfect host family

Hey there! Now my adventure begins, I'm searching for my future host family. At the moment I have two choices. But the problem is when you getting to know them better, you start to like them and would like to know them better and better. But the more you know them, the more you hope and think it could work. The horrible thing is to decide which could fit better. So even if I don't want to choose between people I have to choose. Next week I will go to a festival and on a small holiday trip. I hope I can use this time to think about the families and find my perfect match. Best regards!

Holidays! I've finished my A-level. Now I'm on holidays, in Turkey with my family, two days ago my rabbit died after 10 years. I've been working on my application in an au-pair program. Now I'll begin to search a family.

Change - Umänderung

Habe lange nicht geschrieben, da ich am hin und her überlegen war, habe mich aber doch entscheiden und planen können. Ich werde im Januar (hoffentlich) Deutschland verlassen und als Au-pair nach Amerika gehen!! :) Hey there, I haven't written for a time because I have spend a lot of it in thinking about my future. I've decided to go to America next year instead of going to angermünde to begin my education. I'm very happy!

New Home

Today I was in Angermünde. Me and my dad, we visited my probably new home. It was a long way and

flat doesn't look really nice I thought. But I hope they will make the flat look better and I can create a beautiful one. Heute war ich mit meinem Vater zusammen in Angermünde,um mir meine potentielle erste Wohnung anzugucken. Ich hatte mir ehrlich gesagt mehr erhofft. Aber der Vermieter hat gesagt sie wird neu renoviert und dann kann ich in eine neuere Wohnung einziehen. Wenn alles glatt läuft kann ich sie auch meinen Wünschen nach gestalten :)
